  BASEBALL MOGUL SKINS

Baseball Mogul supports the ability to alter the visual look of your game by changing the "skin".

To create a new "skin" for Baseball Mogul, create a new folder inside the "Skins" folder in your Baseball Mogul folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2017\Skins\) and put your customized screen artwork in that folder.

Baseball Mogul will look for a folder inside the "Skins" folder with a name matching your currently selected skin. You can change the skin being used in League Options.

You do not need to provide every art file in your new skin. If Baseball Mogul cannot find a file, it will use the file from the default skin.

Baseball Mogul Version
Default Skin
Baseball Mogul 2017 / Baseball Mogul 2018 Blue
Baseball Mogul Diamond / Baseball Mogul 2016
Monster
Baseball Mogul 2014 / Baseball Mogul 2015
Sunshine

Baseball Mogul also lets you change the text display options associated with your skin. To change the text color and properties, copy the "NewsColors.ini" file from the "SportsMogul" skin folder to your new folder.

By editing this file, you can change the appearance of every button and most text items found on the News Menu screens. (As of Version 8.00, Baseball Mogul does not provide support for changing text and buttons in the Play-By-Play Screen).

Each screen item has a unique name. For example, the League Button on the Standings Screen is referred to as "STANDINGS_LEAGUE". To change the color of the text on this button to bright red, change the line starting with "STANDINGS_LEAGUE.TEXT" to the following:

STANDINGS_LEAGUE.TEXT          255,0,0

All buttons also have a ".STYLE' tag. For example, if you type the following, you will change the Standings League Button from a normal "push button" to text that is highlighted with a "focus rectangle" when you move your mouse over it:

STANDINGS_LEAGUE.STYLE         FOCUS

More information is available in the comments at the top of the NewsColor.ini file..
