FANTASY DRAFT

The Fantasy Draft enables you to redistribute all players in your league via a draft process whereby all the teams take turns choosing players for their team.

SETUP

To start the draft, pick a format for the first round and for the remaining rounds and click OK.

First Round Order Description
Random The draft order is chosenly randomly at the start of the draft.
Alphabetical

The draft order is set alphabetically (by team region name). For example, the Anaheim Saints choose before the Boston Beanpots.

After starting the draft, the computer will conduct all draft picks for all computer-controlled teams. You will be informed when it is time for a human-controlled team to make a draft pick.

If you check Announce Each Draft Pick, the computer will inform you of every single draft pick with a popup message.

If you check Skip Computer Draft Picks, only human-controlled teams will be able to draft players. This is useful if you want to include all players in the Fantasy Draft, but only divide them among 10 or 12 teams.

FINDING PLAYERS

We recommend using the Roster Dialog to find players during the Fantasy Draft. Choose 'Undrafted Players' from the Team List.

DRAFTING PLAYERS

To draft a player, open that player's Scouting Report and click Draft. If the Draft Button is grayed out, it means that player has already been drafted.

Until the draft has been completed, all players will be displayed on their old (pre-draft) teams. This is to aid you in finding players. For example, if you need a starting pitcher and you remember that Atlanta has a good pitching rotation, you can open the Bullpen Dialog and select Atlanta.

You can also use the Find Players Dialog to find undrafted players that fit certain parameters. During the Fantasy Draft, the Find Players Dialog will only display players that have not yet been drafted.

To view a list of players that have already been drafted, select Fantasy Draft from the Tools Menu. This will display the Draft Order dialog, showing a list of players already picked, and the draft order for picks not yet conducted.

You can choose to finish the draft at any point by selecting Finish Draft from the Play Menu. The computer will conduct all remaining draft picks. This feature lets you participate in the draft in the more important early rounds, without having to invest the time necessary to draft every single player to your roster.
